Toddler Room:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We provide Toddler sized equipment and furnishing. There is a home corner, reading area, sand and water play area, and a garage with a trucks corner.

 

Our Programme of care is a consistent schedule where your child knows what will happen next and therefore feels secure and confident in their learning environment.

Our care programme provides opportunities for children to engage in Free Play, Story time, Arts and Crafts, Jigsaws and Construction, Circle time with songs and many more fun learning opportunities.

 

We observe each child’s strengths and weaknesses so we can plan activities around them. This will assist each child in reaching their full potential and move through each developmental milestone.

 

At the end of each term your child will receive a book containing their art work and you will also be given feedback on your child’s progress.

 

For nap time each child is given their own bed and sleeping bag. They have their nap at 12.30pm, we close the curtains and play relaxing music while they drift to sleep.

The staff check (and record) the children every ten minutes while they are sleeping.

All children enrolled in the Toodler Room are allocated a space in the Free Pre-School Year.
